Previously, on General Hospital, when Mason first started to blackmail Ava on Cyrus’ behest, Austin began unraveling. The alpha man we had gotten so used to seeing standing beside Ava, started to look weak and scaredy, He even harshly pushed Ava to comply or they would both face dire consequences. That’s when their budding relationship endured the first blow. As the episodes passed, Austin started to appear more and more shady. Especially, after his interactions with Cyrus at the hospital.
Many fans started to speculate that Cyrus is indeed Austin and Mason’s mystery boss on General Hospital. As it turns out, they were right! Cyrus surely has been the one pulling the strings all along. Matters got even worse when Austin shared the screen with Nik! Thus, insinuating that he had been in the know of Nik’s survival all along. Hence, it comes as no surprise that when Ava found out about Cyrus and Austin’s connection, she lost all trust in him. Can Austin Convince Ava That His Feeling Are Genuine On General Hospital?
We know it’s true that Austin has been taking orders from Cyrus, but we also know that he has been desperately trying to break free from a life of crime on General Hospital. The soap has been trying to set the tone for it for months now. So, it is very plausible that Austin did not actually betray Ava by choice. So it indeed is worth discussing that what actually the extent of his misconduct is. Also, how guilty and willing to make amends he is.
The latest General Hospital spoilers reveal that when Ava confronts Austin next week, he will be willing surrender. He already has his mind made up to make a full confession to the cops. He is committed to earning redemption for all and any involvement he has had in anything that messed up Ava’s life. Furthermore, he insists that his feelings for Ava are genuine. But will she believe him? It is unlikely that she will forgive him right off the bat. But, if he sticks to his attempts of making amends, he might just win her forgiveness.
