BIG UPDATE: Adam’s Photo Box Unsettles Sally – Confronts Ex Over Fixation
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) desire to be helpful will bring a shocking discovery and what she feels is troubling news. After Sally shows up at Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) new place with a housewarming present, she’ll learn he was just on his way out.
However, Adam will wonder if Sally would be willing to wait for him while he has a meeting with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Victor will want to speak with Adam right away at the ranch, but Adam probably won’t expect their conversation to take very long.
As a result, Sally will agree to hang out there until Adam gets back.
Since Adam just moved in and still has a lot of unpacking to do, Sally will decide to make herself useful by unloading some boxes for him.
That’ll lead to Sally discovering some old photos that she took with Adam. It should bring back some intense memories once Sally’s looking at these pictures from when they were a couple.
After Adam returns, Y&R spoilers say Sally will confront him with the photos that she found.
Once Sally expresses concern over the fact that Adam kept them, she’ll act like it’s not healthy to cling to memories like this.
Of course, we’d argue that Adam isn’t doing anything wild or even abnormal here.
Sally seems to think Adam should be able to just wipe the existence of their relationship from his mind, but love doesn’t work that way.
Adam isn’t hurting anyone by keeping a few photos as mementos, so it’s honestly unfair for Sally to dig through his personal belongings and complain.
It’s not like Adam has a giant shrine to Sally in the back of his closet! Why can’t Adam have a few pics to soothe the gaping wound that Sally’s left open?
Regardless, Adam will admit to Sally that being with her was the happiest time of his life.
The photos remind Adam of that time, so he’ll confess that he’s been unable to part with them.
Before Adam and Sally can take their discussion any deeper during the week of August 14-18, there’ll be an angry knock at the door.
It turns out it’ll be Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who’ll be back from his trip and most likely privy to Adam targeting Audra Charles (Zuleyla Silver) by then.
That means Nick is about to catch Sally in Adam’s condo, so he’ll have questions for both of them soon enough.
