The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) gained useful information after an unanticipated request was received. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) spun the job offer Adam made and used it to gain intelligence that she quickly used to trap Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Adam’s initial instinct was to deny Phyllis’ ask. But he changed his mind and accessed McCall Unlimited’s digital resources.
Viewers recognized how the soapy puzzle pieces fit when considering Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) purchase of Tucker’s company in retrospect.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tucker McCall Does Not Need Another Enemy
Adam told Phyllis about the amoral decision Tucker made when choosing to cover the illegal actions of a singer.
Various employees were, in effect, paid for their silence, and justice was diverted.
Phyllis was relieved Adam found the compromising information.
Her awareness of it meant she could tell Tucker to produce Carson (no last name known for the Emergency Medical Technician played by Walter Belenky).
Stafford’s character wants to put Carson under wraps to ensure he delivers testimony that will support her invented eyewitness.
That should be enough to have the murder charge dropped. Whether Phyllis later chooses to retaliate against Tucker is not yet known.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Audra Charles Goes Where The Power Flows
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is motivated to promote herself, regardless of what it takes to do so.
Her connection with Tucker is not pure business, as viewers learned when both characters were revealed to also have what could be termed a personal relationship.
She openly admitted to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that he was a romantic target. That statement, while truthful, seemed intended to boost his ego.
Tucker’s interest is with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) unless she begs off the intended marriage, and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) affords Nate the pathway to the good life he feels deserving of.
So, that leaves Audra with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
But Kyle’s true love is Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) and his connection with Audra appears to be both reactionary and transactional.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Needs Someone
Adam is not used to being without a woman for long. He needs someone to try and keep him in check.
But Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has only served as an advisor in recent years and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has moved on to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Sally still has love in her heart for Adam. But she is determined to not get involved with him again.
So, one of Audra’s future targets is plausibly Adam. His involvement at Newman Enterprises makes her an option for him as well on Y&R.
