To quickly fill you in on the show’s past, in the early ’90s, Victoria and Cole were deeply in love and got married. But Victoria’s parents, especially Victor, didn’t like it. Victor had a secret. He believed that there was a slight possibility for him being Cole’s father.
However, thankfully enough, after a while, a DNA test showed that Victor wasn’t Cole’s dad, and Cole and Victoria got married again. Soon after, Victoria became pregnant with a girl they named Eve after Cole’s mother. Sadly, the baby passed away a few days after birth due to an infection, or that’s what everyone believed.
Now, let’s talk about The Young and the Restless episode that aired on November 27, 2023, Claire, brings Cole, who’s hurt, in front of Victor, Victoria, and Nick. She says, “Mom, he had to be here for the family reunion, right?” These words shock Victoria, who’s already worried about Nikki and figuring out how her family will get out of the current hostage situation. Now, it’s really important to find a way for the family to stay safe from Aunt Jordan and Claire’s harmful plans, instead of just thinking about Victoria meeting her daughter again.
The Newmans are trapped in a house with no way out, and Aunt Jordan says she poisoned the water bottles that Victoria, Nick, and Victor drank from. This Aunt Jordan, who seems a bit crazy about it, says she’s doing all this to pay the Newmans back for her sister, Eve, who’s no longer alive. We can picture Aunt Jordan telling Claire false stuff, like Victoria and Cole didn’t want to raise her. Or that the Newmans were dangerous and would’ve hurt her eventually. But the huge surprise of their daughter being alive might make Victoria and Cole express their emotions, that would touch Claire’s heart.
With her dad and brother’s help, Victoria might say that even though the Newmans argue, they love family and always stick together in tough times. Aunt Jordan told Claire not to get soft or lose her determination when dealing with Nikki. So this makes us wonder that Claire could feel sympathy and regret if she hears the right words. Is it possible that Claire will realize her aunt is a liar, unstable, and has wrongly targeted the Newman family? Maybe.
