NEW UPDATE: Monday, October 9 – Summer Pursues Chance – Sharon’s Awkwardness – Devon’s Discovery
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 9, reveals that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott’s (Susan Walters) wedding reception will continue, so it’ll eventually be time for them to renew their vows.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will lead Diane and Jack through that part of the festivities, which could prove to be a tougher job than he expected.
It’ll be impossible for Kyle to watch Diane and Jack exchange heartfelt promises without thinking of his own vow renewal with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Of course, Summer will probably have a few flashbacks as well, so that could leave her with a torn heart.
Although Summer keeps insisting that she’s moving on, part of her may find herself longing for Kyle and what they shared in the past.
Nevertheless, Y&R spoilers say Summer will ultimately focus on Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and will rethink her stance in some way.
Although Summer previously wished Chance was available, she might decide to make a move on him anyway since he’s not in that deep with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) yet.
Regardless, there are bound to be some awkward moments for Sharon, Chance and Summer as they chat at his party.
If Sharon gets called away for some reason, that could clear a path for Summer to flirt and pull Chance closer.
Back with Kyle, he may deal with some jealousy if he sees Summer and Chance connecting. Kyle might feel like a lonely outsider, but he has a big surprise headed his way soon enough.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will go along with Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) plan for her to reel Kyle in again and sizzle with him once more.
That means Kyle’s going to be taken aback when Audra insists she’s craving him and can’t stay away.
Kyle’s probably only going to get hurt in the end, but he won’t be able to resist responding to Audra’s message anyway.
Next, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will make a shocking discovery involving Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) and her mysterious ally.
It looks like Tucker is the person Mamie’s in cahoots with, so Devon will confront him over that news and push for answers.
