Grimes’ father, Preston Lee, also shared a few snaps of Bridger dressed in a festive outfit, complete with a knit Santa Claus hat, and another taken at the hospital.

Lee gushed over the birth of his first grandchild, who he noted came ‘a little earlier than we thought this week.’

‘Little Bridger Elias made his entrance on Wednesday. Such a blessing. He’s healthy and happy and so is my daughter Camryn,’ he captioned the slideshow. ‘She was a CHAMP and so was the new Dad, Brock!’

He concluded the comment by writing that he was already ‘looking forward to first Disneyland trip, first Dodger game, first rodeo, first Huckleberry shake’ and more.

In August, Grimes announced her pregnancy on social media by uploading a series of Polaroid photos, which showed off her growing baby bump.

‘I guess you could add mother to my resume,’ the actress wrote in her caption alongside a red heart emoji.

The NCIS alumna — who played Cassie Newman in 1997 and currently portrays Mariah Copeland on the soap — had also shared a snap of a letter board with the aforementioned snaps of her belly and hinting at her due date.

On the board, she had arranged the letters to reveal that ‘Baby Foster’ would be ‘arriving Dec 2023’.

To clarify to confused fans who are more familiar with their stage names, she also wrote in her comments section: ‘For those wondering… Foster is our LAST name, sorry for the confusion! Lol’.

In the photos, the expecting mother showcased her bump in a gray sports bra and a pair of unbuttoned denim jeans slung low on her waist.

She had her usually fiery red tresses — which looked brunette with the instant photo filter — swept to one side in elegant waves.

‘All I knew was that there was a dinner that night and so I couldn’t understand why Brock had me running around all day,’ she recalled.

‘We ended up running late for dinner and Brock said he had to stop at the house first,’ she explained detailing the follow-up to the big surprise.

‘We pull up and he grabs our dog Riley and asks me to get out of the car and join him,’ she added.

‘He escorts me to the backyard which was lit with market lights and candles and balloons everywhere,’ she continued. ‘Then he got down on one knee and popped the question!’

‘The movie deeply connected to both Cam and I, especially as two people who were deeply in love and unable to travel and see the world beyond their own house over the last couple years,’ Powell had then explained. ‘In using the theme I tried to find a way to represent our love story so far by incorporating gentle nods to our favorite things.’
