The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Diane Sabotages Billy to Score Co-CEO Spot for Kyle?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) could use some drama to shake up their new marriage. It’s easy to see a potential path to trouble, especially since Diane is so obsessed with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) rejoining Jabot.
Diane knows Kyle has been going through a rough time ever since his split from Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Kyle needs a purpose and a sense of direction, so Diane wants him back in the family business for his own good.
However, there’s a problem since Kyle’s only willing to return to Jabot if he can have Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) job.
Kyle used to serve in the co-CEO position, so he doesn’t want to move backward at the company and accept a lesser role.
Since Jack doesn’t want to throw Billy out and ruin their relationship, could Diane do something shady to try and change his mind?
Diane feels like it’s only a matter of time until Billy backslides and proves he’s untrustworthy anyway, so she might do something to help speed the process along.
Many Y&R fans have been waiting for Diane to do something devious, so maybe the writers will finally make it happen.
The only person Diane would betray Jack for is Kyle, so she could go against Jack’s wishes with a misguided attempt to do what’s best for their son.
Unfortunately, that could also mean targeting Billy in some way. Diane may sabotage Billy or set some sort of trap where he’ll look terrible in Jack’s eyes.
The goal would be to convince Jack to fire Billy and slide Kyle back in the co-CEO seat, but a plan like this could easily blow up in Diane’s face.
