Turns out, Jordan is Eve Howard’s sister, and she’s seeking payback because she didn’t like how Eve was treated. That’s the reason for why she pushed Nikki off the wagon and put her in the nightmare. That also seems to be the reason for poisoning Victor, Nick and Victoria as well. The Young and the Restless will also reveal that Claire is Victoria and Cole’s daughter, who is now all grown-up.

The baby survived and was brought up by Jordan. So Claire’s true identity will come as a surprise to Cole and Victoria. Spoilers indicate that Victor will risk his own life to protect Nikki.
