The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, December 22 – Michael’s Wild Strategy – Phyllis Blindsides Christine
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, December 22, reveal that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will pick up a last-minute gift that she ordered from Fenmore’s. Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will have it wrapped and ready for Christine once they meet up at Society.
Since this will be a special present for Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), Lauren will fish to find out if Christine’s getting back together with her ex.
Christine and Danny haven’t made anything official yet, but she’ll admit they’ve been growing closer since Danny’s been back in town.
Afterward, Christine will pop over to Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) place since Danny’s staying with him right now.
Although Christine will want to drop off her gift, she’ll quickly worry that maybe she’s interrupting.
Christine will hear Christmas carols on the other side of the door and contemplate walking away without saying anything, but she’ll ultimately knock and get an unpleasant surprise when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) opens up.
Naturally, Phyllis will play nice in front of Danny, Daniel, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), but Christine will know it’s all for show!
Even so, Christine will end up sticking around and having a merry Christmas with the whole gang.
If Christine wants to be in Danny’s life, she may have to accept that Phyllis is always going to be part of the picture.
As for Daniel, he’ll get a sweet reminder about the meaning of Christmas, so that could lead to some heartwarming moments with Heather and Lucy while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is away.
Back with Lauren, she’ll receive a holiday surprise of her own thanks to Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) brilliant mind.
Michael will come up with an unconventional present, so he’ll have a pretty wild strategy for celebrating this year.
Of course, many Y&R fans are eager to see the next chapter in the Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) saga, but it sounds like the show may focus on giving a heartwarming holiday episode first.
Jordan wants to trade Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) for Nikki in a hostage exchange, so we’ll see how her scheme works out during the week of December 25-29.
