The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki’s Intervention – Victor, Nick and Victoria Back Drunk Matriarch Into Corner?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is headed down a risky road. Ever since Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) drove Nikki off the wagon with that vodka IV, she’s found it tough to maintain her sobriety.
Nikki has been going to AA meetings and truly wants to turn things around, but it’s difficult when Jordan’s still lurking and sending creepy messages to torment her.
It’s clear that Nikki’s consumed by fear and anger, so it’s easy to see why she’s trying to numb her pain with alcohol right now.
Nikki is using booze as an unhealthy coping mechanism – and she’s having to rely on it more and more just to get through each day.
However, Y&R spoilers say Nikki can’t keep this up forever.
Although Nikki has tried to cover her tracks, it’ll get harder as the supply of vodka keeps dwindling at the Newman ranch.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will also warn Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that he thinks Nikki’s drinking again during the week of December 18-22, so he may see something that leads him to believe that’s true.
Later, Victor might check out the open vodka bottle at home and realize Nikki’s been adding water to make it seem like it’s still full.
Of course, there’ll be some other troubling moments connected to Nikki’s drinking in the coming episodes.
Jordan will pull off another insane trick and leave Nikki more rattled than ever, so she may gulp down vodka in the aftermath of that shocker.
At some point, all this could lead to Nikki driving drunk or doing something else that’s dangerous.
Nikki is stuck on a downward spiral that can only end in catastrophe, so she could really use an intervention.
Will Victor, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) all band together to save Nikki from the fight she’s currently losing?
Victoria, Nick and Victor might eventually ambush Nikki at the ranch or even the office.
It could bring some heartbreaking scenes where Nikki finally admits she’s got a problem she can’t tackle on her own.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki’s loved ones will get updates on all her sobriety slipups soon, so that news could cause them all to rally and help before tragedy strikes.
