The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tucker Swaps Targets & Exploits Claire Crisis?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is currently determined to take over Jabot, but plans can change! Tucker has certainly changed his mind about his goals in the past, so maybe that’ll happen again thanks to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
Despite all the issues in their failed marriage, Ashley is still willing to help Tucker make amends with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James).
Of course, Tucker has some doubts about Ashley’s motives, especially now that he’s heard Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) out-of-context recording.
We’re seeing a very cautious Tucker right now, but part of him clearly still loves Ashley – and she feels the same way deep down.
Y&R went to the trouble of having Ashley and Tucker get married, but they never even made it past their honeymoon!
Are the writers really going to throw away this pairing or is this all part of the complicated journey of love?
Ashley might be the one person who can make Tucker back off his vengeful Jabot goals and put his attention on something else.
Since Ashley can’t allow Tucker to go after her family business, he can’t have his cake and eat it, too.
Tucker has to decide whether he wants a reunion with Ashley or a Jabot takeover since he can’t have both.
We have to consider what might happen if a reunion with Ashley starts to seem like a real possibility.
Tucker could get closer to Ashley through her plan to help him reconcile with Devon, so that might lead to them surrendering to temptation in bed.
From there, maybe Ashley and Tucker could try finding a way forward after all. If Tucker decides to call off his Jabot takeover mission, he might need a new target.
Tucker has a major beef with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) over the blackmail drama related to that cover-up of a cover-up with the McCall Unlimited PR team.
Adam spread that news to the Abbotts and gave them leverage, which could leak anytime since Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) had a reporter friend put together a scandalous article.
Tucker threatened Adam after he spilled the evidence, so maybe it’s almost time for Tucker to turn the tables.
Now that Adam’s carving out a role for himself at Newman again, Tucker may want to yank that away.
It might be interesting if Tucker decides to swap a Jabot takeover mission for a Newman destruction plot.
Tucker’s timing could be pretty perfect since the Newman family is in total crisis mode right now.
All the Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) chaos will affect the Newmans deeply since she’s Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) daughter.
Tucker could take advantage of the distraction and make some big power plays against Newman Enterprises as a result.
Bottom line, Tucker may have to drop his Jabot mission at some point, but he’s not the kind of guy who can just relax and enjoy himself.
Tucker always has to have a scheme cooking up, so targeting Newman Enterprises may be next. Even if Tucker can’t take it over, he might resolve to leave it in ruins!
