Y&R spoilers are trying to convince viewers that Nicholas only intends to invest in Sally’s new business, he doesn’t intend to actually roll up his sleeves and run it. After all, it’s what she asked for, and it’s what he promised. But is that really what’s about to happen? We think not. Here’s why:

Victor (Eric Braeden) has just laid down one of his famous edicts, announcing a restructuring of Newman Enterprises – yet again. Adam (Mark Grossman) is out, and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is in, Nate (Sean Dominic) needs to move over, and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) need to play nice now and share the toys their daddy got them. Toys he can take away at any moment, because what Victor giveth, Victor can also taketh away on a whim.
Young & Restless: Fight the Power
Yeah, that’s not how Nick rolls. He doesn’t like being told what to do. He likes telling others what to do. He can’t do that now with Victor in charge. But he can still do it with Sally (Courtney Hope).
Y&R Spoilers: Waiting Period
Sure, he said he’d keep his distance. And he will. For a little while. Until he gets frustrated with Newman Enterprises and quits. And then he’ll sit at home. Sure, maybe he’ll spend some time with the otherwise invisible Christian. But he’ll get bored sooner rather than later. And he’ll want to feel relevant and needed and, you know, manly, again. So, he’ll start making a few suggestions to Sally. And then he’ll make a few more. And then he’ll start making bigger suggestions. And when Sally bristles, he’ll remind her, “Hey, remember who is paying for this banana stand?” And that will be the beginning of the end. Of something or other.
