NEW UPDATE: Victoria & Nate’s Breakup – Can’t Survive Claire & Victor’s Final Test?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will find themselves at odds once again thanks to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
There was a time when Nate and Victoria always seemed to be on the same page, but those days are gone.
Victoria and Nate may not always have major showdowns, but they’ve still been disagreeing a lot lately.
It just feels like the spark that Nate and Victoria once had has fizzled.
Between Victoria’s demotion and all of Victor’s tests, things have been stressful and unpleasant around Newman Enterprises.
The chemistry’s off, so there’s just not much to root for when it comes to Victoria and Nate’s romance at this point.
Of course, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) appears to be interested in Nate on some level. It’s possible Claire just wants to gather information from Nate, but it’s also possible she’ll try to seduce him eventually.
Claire is working some shady angles and knows how to stroke Nate’s ego, so he’ll be an easy mark for her.
There’s a chance Claire could play a role in blowing up Victoria and Nate’s romance, so that’s something to keep in mind.
However, Claire isn’t the only threat to Nate and Victoria’s relationship. In fact, Claire’s meddling may not even be necessary if Victoria and Nate are already on the verge of splitting up over Victor drama.
Y&R spoilers say Victor will confess his traitor hunt during the week of November 6-10, so he’ll rant about someone trying to betray him and launch a final test to prove the culprit.
That’ll lead to Nate and Victoria clashing over Victor’s announcement, so Victor will manage to cause more problems between them.
This could be part of the test as Victor tries to push Nate, Victoria, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to their breaking points.
There’s no mention of Victoria and Nate’s romance in November preview info, so is that a bad sign?
At the very least, Nate and Victoria’s personal relationship is starting to take a backseat and become less important on the show.
That could mean Victoria and Nate are headed into breakup territory, especially if their relationship isn’t strong enough to survive Victor’s last test and the complications it could bring.
Newly single Nate might end up leaving Newman Enterprises, which could pave the way for him to return to Chancellor-Winters like Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) wants.
